Project: Building Connections: Caregivers of Children with Medical Complexity Facilitating Communication Training with Pediatric Residents

Thriving Kids UBC has provided support for this project, led by Judy So and supervised by Esther Lee, where a communication skills workshop for first- and second-year pediatric residents was co-designed, co-created, and co-delivered by a pediatric resident and caregivers of children with medical complexity. A language guide for healthcare teams supporting children with medical complexity has been developed and is available HERE
